Melbourne Corporate Video // Brand Identity Video ~ Living Colours Video Testimonial

Living Colours has a unique selling point – they have a 200% guarantee. With this in mind and understanding the value placed on this guarantee, our goal was to capture a testimonial that was truly authentic.
I often say that is easy to speak about someone when you believe in that person. Karen from The Connault Luxurious Retirement Apartments spoke with honesty as she shared her experiences with Living Colours. This was the making of an amazing testimonial.
Combining footage from real-life working sites, an interview with Jan Persson & Karen Mabilia, Preface Films is proud to present another amazing identity video testimonial.

Melbourne Corporate Video // Mackenzi Creations ~ Business profile & identity video

While talking to Candice about creating a profile video, there was one thing that stuck in my mind – many people have no idea of what is involved in being a planner.

Planning an event is arduous – it takes an insurmountable amount of time that no one could appreciate until they are walking in a planners shoes. This is how we envisaged her clip to be.

With such a vibrant personality and energy, our thoughts crossed to the movie, “Devil in Prada”. The fast pace, the high heels, the organised chaos that creates a master piece of an event.

So who needs a planner? This was a key element in defining the clientèle who has sought Mackenzi Creations – they are the busy people who want the magic in their event, but need the support to make it happen.

WHY WE CREATED IT

Being a SME ourselves, as well as a video production company, we are a big advocate about the power of using a video testimonial on your website, in your store or distributed on the NET (like YouTube)

Video Testimonials have the ability to;

  • Capture Your Audience’s Attention
  • Target Your Ideal Market
  • Advocate Your Brand in a 100% Believable Way
  • Reassure Your Clients that you are the Best Choice

HOW WE CAN HELP:

The testimonial in this clip involved consultation with the business owner and storyboarding, a day’s worth of shooting and extensive editing to get the ‘quality’ feeling we were after. A possible extension would have been ‘before’ and ‘after’ pieces showing off a particular project.

To create a video like this for your business ranges from $2500 // half-day shoot – $6500 // 1-2 day shoot. If that is less than an average sale for you, then your ROI is looking very good. If your customer’s first impression of you is important please call us to discuss your options.

Melbourne Corporate Video // Body Canvas 2011 ~ Event Production

Body Canvas – the journey shares the passion and dedication of 3 key organisers. This is their story.

When we first spoke with the team they were overcome by our beautiful film of Vaughan – a little boy who who is dying of cancer. We have since been awarded winner of the 2011 Short Film category by the Australian Video Producers Association for that film…a moment that we will treasure forever.

With Clint and his team, we dreamed of creating a film that not only shares the background of how Body Canvas came to be, but capture some key events that have inspired so many people.

With the main event being held at the Atrium in Flemington, hosts Aaron McCarthey & Tottie Goldsmith introduced the amazing stars, models & artists. Featuring Timomatic, Jim Row, Alia Milano & Jade Angela, the talented artists & models strutted their stuff.

Congratulations to all the sponsors, models,, artists & especially the project team whose dedication is inspiring.
With all profits going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Body Canvas is truly creating a legendary event & experience

Taking art to the streets, Body Canvas & the Noise Bar painted the town with colour. With vibrancy, zest and determination to show the beauty of body art, the team pulled together a show stopping experience as a media launch for the upcoming fundraising event at the Atrium Flemington Racecourse on the 24th September 2011

Body Canvas, with all profits going to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation, has dared to be different…an awesome combination that draws passion from passionate individuals.

Goal: creating a promotional clip combining the techniques of graffiti & body art for the main event

Setting: Graffiti Wall, Noise Bar, Brunswick train station/bicycle path

Music: Turn it around – Tim McMorris // Grunge, streetwise, urban, passion.

There are many awesome fundraising activities with dedicated people who invest their time into a cause.

Body canvas combines the art of painting to emphasize the beauty of the human body. Join this group as they tour the studio of Bodyography with artists and models to launch their first promotional activity, for their main event on the 24th September 2011

Melbourne Corporate Video // Red Scooter ~ Business profile

A culmination of a series of 3 promotional videos, this clip is a highlight of all shooting events and was used to as a presentation at the ISES student conference. It was geared towards to talking about the owner’s experiences in the industry.

Their passion for service, quality of food and attention to detail were some of the key elements he wished to emphasize.

Using a variety of footage from 3 shoots, the team from Sauvignon Media Creations have created a highlight that highlight the key message that Eammon wants to express. As concludes – “Why wouldn’t you want to have your event at Red Scooter?”

One of the most important assets to any successful business is staff. Red Scooter has some remarkable staff who are dedicated to their goals of providing an amazing experience for their clients.

Choosing a venue for a function can be a daunting task. At Red Scooter, they are committed to all elements of your event. Their attention to detail for music, staff, venue & food ensures that your event is a total success.

Red Scooter – a premium venue that emulates class…for clients who seek a unique venue that has service that is second to none, creates the atmosphere & delivers an impeccable experience that is the talk of the town.

Showcasing their most recent design and functionality of this room in what is a very industrial zone, was the goal of Preface Films.

Melbourne Corporate Video // Contours ~ Sunbury business profile

We discussed the option of doing a promo clip for the Sunbury studio and inviting some of the girls to be involved. There is nothing better to promote your studio than the people within it. They are “real”.

We did this shoot over two days and I think it paid off. Having the interview first allowed us to conceptualise some of the shooting sequences that would compliment the audio. Yes, we are story tellers and the whole concept of storyboarding is tying audio to visuals.

These girls, both trainers and members are inspirational and this promo emphasizes the dedication & fun that this studio has.

Melbourne Corporate Video // Short Film AVPA Winner 2011

This year has been amazing year. So many great this have happened not only to us but for our clients. Winning this entry is somewhat a bitter-sweet victory as the story itself is tinged with sadness. My greatest thanks to the family who allowed us to come into their lives to create this magical piece.

“Once upon a time, a little boy came into the world with a beautiful smile that lit up the world.

This is a true life story of a little boy who at 6 months of age was diagnosed with leukemia. His battle endured for some time and in the new year of 2011 things were looking promising. Life should be lived to the fullest. Life is unpredictable – it may not be fair and curve balls can get thrown out of nowhere.

As we filmed this family, the appreciation of living life and enjoying the simple things was something that often I know many including ourselves, take for granted. Vaughan and his family are reminders to enjoy every second that is before us – life is too precious not to.

My sincere gratitude to Ffyona & Patrick from pass-the-parcel for offering their talents and making a day even more beautiful. Thank you also to Myrooren Wimalendra from the Royal Children’s hospital for giving up his time to chat with us. And above all, thank you to the family of Vaughan for allowing us to share their journey and re-tell their story.”
